Jawun Evans Visits BPS and Talks About His NBA Journey

I’m glad to see Jawun Evans working hard. A true Cowboy, through and through. He has an interesting scenario in LA. Are they playoff contenders? Are they not playoff contenders? Who knows in the wild wild Western Conference. What we do know is Jawun is going to be learning from one of the league’s most effective defenders in Pat Beverly and from one of Europe’s most prolific passers, Milos Teodosic, who made a move to the NBA over the summer and landed in LA with the Clippers.

Good luck with everything, Jawun!

Taylor Olson Named Big 12 Freshman of the Week

The Cowgirls are No. 19 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, and are sitting pretty with a 5-0-1 record. On their way home from College Station, TX after a 2-2 tie with the Aggies, they faced off against UTSA. Olson scored three in the late minutes of the match. This gives Olson her fourth goal of the season which ties her for top goal scorer in the Big 12.

THESE GIRLS ARE ON FIYAAAAAAAAA!

Former Oklahoma State Stars Are Impressing to Finish the Baseball Season

Thomas Hatch, the Cowboys’ ace during their College World Series run last summer, has been pitching well as of late. Over his past three starts, Hatch has gone five innings and given up only one earned run in each start.

Donnie Walton, son of Oklahoma State pitching coach Rob Walton, has weathered the storm in his first minor league season and is finishing the season on a tear. Walton is hitting .271 on the season with a .344 OBP.
