It was reported that VanGorder was expected to be hired as the 10th assistant coach in Coach Gundy’s staff, but that was short lived. After spending a season working as a defensive analyst for Mike Gundy, the football coaching nomad will be leaving Stillwater, OK and will be heading to Louisville, Kentucky.
Mike Gundy is still without a defensive coordinator and a 10th assistant to fill out his staff for the upcoming season.
