The Cowboys moved up three spots to No. 14 after they defeated the Virginia Tech Hokies 30-21 in the Camping World Bowl.
After winning yet another natty, Alabama reclaims the No. 1 spot, followed by Georgia, Oklahoma, Clemson and Ohio State claims the fifth spot.
Undefeated UCF comes in at No. 6. The Knights got four first-place votes after finishing a perfect 13-0 on the season. They were the only other team to get first place votes, as Alabama collected the other 56.
TCU is the only other Big 12 team in the Top 25. The Horned Frogs finish just inside the Top 10, taking the No. 9 spot.
