Social Media Roundup: Kansas State

Here’s how social media reacted to Oklahoma State’s 31-12 loss to the Wildcats on Saturday.

Oklahoma State had suffered two huge upset losses this season heading in to Saturday’s game in Manhattan.

Fans and media figures alike took to the twitters to express their feelings towards the offensive line, the defense, lack of carries for Justice Hill, complete absence of playing time for Dru Brown and/or Spencer Sanders, all of the Corn Dog hot takes and more. But all of those differing opinions seemed to come together in unison as the Pokes dropped to 1-4 in conference play. Here are some of the best (and by best I mean I wish they weren’t true) tweets from the day.

We’ll start this off with a nice tweet from QB2 (maybe QB3?)’s mom. Yep, Spencer Sanders mom is the latest to join the start Sanders revolution. Can’t argue with at least giving him a chance at this point.

Another Sanders beginning a (hopefully) successful career at Oklahoma State on homecoming of the 30th anniversary of Barry Sanders’ Heisman campaign? I’m here for it.

Just in case anyone was wondering what it will take to get to a fourth straight 10-win season.

Raise your hand if you’re surprised. Keep your hands down, you’re not surprised.

You know how every time something controversial comes up in politics and you see those tweets that say “we can’t let this pass, contact your representatives at (phone number) to stop (insert bill here)!!!” Does anyone think we can do that with Gundy? Like, if enough of us call him multiple times a day, he’ll start Sanders just to get us to quit calling him?

Important for the sanity of all of us at this point.

Looks like the Pokes probably aren’t going bowling at this point in time (the vote on that poll was 89% no at the time I embedded this tweet).

Here’s this, just ‘cause.

I’ll round this out with something a little more light hearted, it’s been a tough day. Also I read that tweet out loud to myself three hours ago and laughed really hard.

Oh, and one more positive note! (((This only happens if Gundy plays Sanders or Brown)))

Honestly I could probably throw about 30 more tweets in here but at some point you guys would just quit reading the article. Plus you guys probably follow most of the big media figures, but there are your top 10 tweets from the day.

TL;DR: Start Sanders.
