NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Conference Tournament-Kansas v Oklahoma State William Purnell-USA TODAY Sports

It’s high noon...

Representatives for Big 12 Basketball Media Day announced:

It was announced this morning who will be joining coach Boynton in Kansas City for this year’s Big 12 Basketball Media Day.

This year’s captains, Thomas Dziagwa, Cameron McGriff and Lindy Water III, will represent Oklahoma State along side their head coach to answer the media’s questions.

Big 12 Men’s Basketball Media Day will be on Wednesday Oct. 24 at the Sprint Center.

Oklahoma State Wrestling brings out new head gear:

We know it’s a bit early to be getting excited about wrestling, but Oklahoma State gave a sneak peak of their new head gear and it is muy fuego. Seth Duckworth of Pistols Firing wroth something up about it.

Custom designed by WrestlingMart all three of these are incredible. Typically there’s a bit of a debate in sports. Do you stay with tradition or go with the new custom stuff? I think they made the right move here.

These are great, and based on the reaction of recruits, alum, and current wrestlers on social media they feel similar.

Boynton calls boy out of crowd to shoot free throw at open practice:

During yesterdays open practice at John Marshall High School in OKC, coach Boynton called a young boy out of the crowd to come shoot a free throw to avoid push up and win a free shirt. He made it! This probably made his day.

Umm...what?:

During today’s Big 12 coaches teleconference, Mike Gundy was quoted as saying “I’m having the most fun I’ve ever had in my life as a football coach.”

*head scratch*

I just... I don’t get it. After everything that’s happened this year this just doesn’t make any sense. I mean I’m not Gundy, I don’t know where his head is. I would love to know though I really would.
