High Noon Highlights(10/5): Landon Wolf’s transition

Welcome to High Noon Highlights, a place to catch up on everything you miss in Oklahoma State Athletics

NCAA Football: Oklahoma State at Kansas Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

It’s high noon...

Landon Wolf makes jump from walk-on to scholarship player:

The O’Colly’s Kayla Dunn wrote a fantastic piece about Landon Wolf. She writes about how seriously he takes his scholarship.

Landon Wolf walked through the glass doors of Café Libro at 8:30 a.m., on time as usual.

Unlike many students, he didn’t roll out of bed and ride a Bird scooter across campus minutes before he arrived for the interview. Wolf had been up and grinding since 5 a.m. with football workouts, team breakfast and study sessions, but he offered no complaints. Dedication and hard work recently earned him a full-ride scholarship as a wide receiver on the Oklahoma State football team.

Justice Hill could beat Barry Sanders’ record this weekend:

Pistols Firing Blog posted something yesterday morning that I never realized. Justice Hill is coming up on Barry Sanders career rushing record. He could possibly make Oklahoma State history this weekend as the Cowboys take on the Cyclones.

Cowgirl Soccer takes on Texas Tech tonight:

Come on out to Neal Patterson Stadium tonight as the Cowgirls face Texas Tech tonight. The game is at 6 p.m. The Cowgirls are come off a Bedlam loss in Norman. Meanwhile the Red Raiders are coming off a loss of their own against Baylor.
