While Oklahoma State fans are still reeling from the 48-42 loss to Iowa State on Saturday, it wasn’t all bad this weekend.
The Cowboys got some great news in the form of a commitment from 3-star outside linebacker Josh White.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Linebacker from Cy Creek High School in Houston, Texas is rated as the 47th best player in Texas and the 28th best OLB in the 2020 class.
If you want to know just how good the kid is, think about this; Oklahoma State beat out 11 other schools, most notably Alabama, Nebraska, Baylor, Iowa State, Texas Tech, and Northwestern, among others.
Oklahoma State was one of the most recent teams to get in on White, offering him back on September 9th, when he was in Stillwater for an unofficial visit the weekend of the South Alabama game.
According to Maxpreps, White has logged 22 total tackles including 9 solo in just three games of action.
White is Oklahoma State’s 4th 2020 commit and their second highest rated in the class so far. He joins Eli Russ (OT), Jabbar Muhammed (CB), and Grant Mahon (DT).
