Oklahoma State, like most teams around the nation, will be taking part in a closed door scrimmage later this month, and according to Jeff Goodman at Stadium, OSU’s game will come against a familiar foe.
The Cowboys will head to Wichita, Kansas to face Wichita State on Sunday, October 21st. The Cowboys and Shockers just wrapped up a home-and-home series; Wichita State won in Stillwater in 2017, 78-66, while the Cowboys beat WSU at Intrust Bank Arena, 93-76, back in 2016.
Oklahoma State will return multiple players from last year’s match-up including Lindy Waters, Thomas Dziagwa, and Cameron McGriff. The Shockers on the other hand, will only return one player who saw game action in last season’s match-up; Samajae Haynes-Jones,
These not-so-secret, closed scrimmages have become an annual tradition for most teams around the country. Last season Oklahoma State played Southern Illinois in Stillwater. The year before, the Cowboys traveled to Boulder to face Colorado.

TCU – 10/13 vs. Mississippi State at Louisiana Tech.; 10/21 vs. North Texas
Texas – 10/27 vs. LSU in Houston; 11/1 vs. Texas A&M
Texas Tech – 10/27 vs. Houston in Fort Worth; 11/1 vs. UTEP
West Virginia – 10-27 vs. Purdue in Columbus; 11-3 vs. PENN STATE
