Basketball: Three players sign on first day of early signing period

Three Oklahoma State commits signed their NLI today

The Early Signing Period began Tuesday and Oklahoma State had three basketball players sign their Letter of Intent. Let’s take a look at the newest members of Cowboy Basketball.


Kalib Boone: (@kalibboone32)

High School: Tulsa Memorial (Tulsa, Ok)

Postion: Center

Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Height: 6’8”

Weight: 190

Kalib is the No.1 player in the state of Oklahoma according to 24/7 Sports and is just inside the top 100 nationally at 97 according to 24/7. ESPN has him at No.98 on their list. He is the highest rated on 24/7 of any member of this class.


Keylan Boone(@BooneKeylan):

High School: Tulsa Memorial (Tulsa, Ok)

Position: Power Forward

Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️(borderline 4)

Height: 6’6”

Weight: 175

Keylan is the twin brother of Kalib Boone. Both are crazy talented. Keylan is the No.3 player in Oklahoma and No. 233 nationally according to 24/7 sports.

The Boone twins were on a Tulsa Memorial team that was state champions in 2018. They committed to Oklahoma State in April of 2018 and were the first of the OSU 2019 class.


Avery Anderson III (@averyanderson3_):

High School: Northwest High School (Justin, Tx)

Postion: Combo guard

Star Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Height: 6’ 2”

Weight: 170

Anderson was ranked No.12 in the state of Texas and No.122 nationally by 24/7 sports. Anderson committed in September and was a fantastic late addition for Boynton and company.


There’s still one last player for 2019 that has yet to sign, Marcus Watson. According to his Instagram page he will sign Friday.
