Tuesday afternoon, Cowboy Football made a big announcement. They will face off against Oregon in 2025. Then in 2026, the Ducks will head to Stillwater.

Did anyone else laugh when neither mascot could say anything to each other over the phone? Just me? Okay.
It’s the second major non-conference announcement in the last two months. Oklahoma State and Arkansas announced a home-and-home series back in October.
Oklahoma State and Oregon have only faced off on the gridiron once previously; in the 2008 Holiday Bowl, a game the Ducks won 42-31.
With this announcement, football’s non conference schedule looks pretty good for the next several years. They will play Oregon State in 2019 and 2020, Boise State again in 2021, Arizona State in 2022 and 2023, Arkansas in 2024 and 2027 and finally this series in 2025 and 2026.
Cowboy fans should be stoked for this.
