It’s high noon...
Cameron McGriff named to All-Tournament Team at Advocare Invitational:
Cameron McGriff had a heck of week in Orlando. With a career high 28 points in the win against LSU to go along with two rebounds and two blocks, he would end his weekend with being named to the All-Tournament Team. What a weekend for the junior co-captain!
Congratulations to our 2018 AdvoCare All-Tournament Team

Ummm...how about no?:
Yesterday, someone named @dj_dfunk on Instagram posted a story wearing an Illinois shirt with #golfschool as the caption. Oklahoma State Golf Sports Information Director Ryan Cameron didn’t take too kindly to that. Let’s be real, Oklahoma State is #golfschool. No one else comes close.
Imitation really is the sincerest form of flattery ...

You tell ’em Ryan!
No Improvement in Mike Gundy’s recruiting is a problem:
Kyle Boone wrote a great article this morning about the trend of Mike Gundy’s recruiting. It’s not improving and it’s starting to have a negative effect. Boone does a fantastic job of charting out the trends. You can look at those in the article itself. But here is great point Boone makes.
OSU finished in the 40s nationally once from 2005 to 2014. It has finished in the 40s nationally twice since 2015, and is well on the way to potentially finishing with its worst-ranked class in program history under Gundy in 2019.
OSU hasn’t brought in a top-25 nationally ranked class since 2011, interestingly, the same year OSU won its only Big 12 title.
It’s a credit to Gundy and the program he’s built and sustained that Oklahoma State has been as competitive as it has been, winning 10 games over the last three seasons and four of the previous five. But those seasons were marked with NFL-caliber QB play (or, in the case of 2013, the best defense in program history.) I’m not sure you can reasonably rely on either annually, especially the QB play. {PFB}
That’s your highlights for today. Have a great afternoon!
