It’s high noon...
Trips to Orlando and Minnesota are part of Boynton’s plan:
Nathan Ruiz of the Oklahoman wrote a good piece this morning about how the trips this year to Minnesota and Orlando will help Mike Boynton’s team in the future. His goal with the tougher non-conference opponents this year is to show his team what programs look like that can inspiration for his team.
“Nothing’s by accident, man,” Boynton said. “I want these guys to embrace those type of environments. Our goal is to win a national championship. I’m not afraid to say that. You play in a place like that when you do that. We’ll see, go up there and see if we can still make some shots in a dome, and if we can’t, we’ll figure it out for the next time we’re there. Hopefully, it’s in the Final Four.” {The Oklahoman}
You have got to be behind this guy. His coaching style is something that seems to be working with 7 wins over ranked opponents in his two seasons as head coach.
This video of Chuba Hubbard’s family watching him score a touchdown will melt your heart:
Chuba Hubbard is thousands of miles ways from his family who lives in Canada where Hubbard grew up. But, by the greatness of technology his family is able to watch him play on T.V.
Global Edmonton caught this awesome video of Chuba going in for the touchdown during the TCU game.
How about this raw emotion from @Hubbard_RMN parents in Sherwood Park, watching him score a TD for @okstate . Chuba had an amazing freshman year at OSU. We'll have the full story at 6 on @GlobalEdmonton #NCAA pic.twitter.com/ShrE7ngdWD
