Oklahoma State Offers 2021 Cornerback

The Cowboys are the first to offer the sophomore prospect

Jakailin Johnson

One thing Oklahoma State coaches tend to do well is to recognize and offer talented young prospects early. That feels like the case again as the Cowboys are the first to offer 2021 cornerback prospect Ja’Kailin Johnson.

The 6-foot 160-pound CB out of Saint Louis, Missouri announced his Oklahoma State offer on November 30th. It was quickly followed by an offer from Nebraska a few hours later.

Johnson is just the ninth offer in the 2021 class, but already the fourth cornerback joining Latrell McCutchin, Jimmy Wyrick, and Ishmael Ibraheem. Corner seems to be a position of importance for the class.

The sophomore is being recruiting to play cornerback for OSU, but also plays wide receiver for DeSmet Jesuit High School, and competes in track and field running the 40-yard dash, and the 100 and 200 meter.
