A three star(according to 247Sports) defensive lineman from Edmond, Oklahoma, has faxed in his National Letter of Intent to Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Trace Ford recorded 40 tackles and 5 pass break-ups, while also forcing five fumbles and recovering another fumble during his senior campaign at Edmond Santa Fe High School.

The 3-star DE picked the Cowboys over 16 other schools including Arkansas, Cal, Baylor, Oregon, Utah, and Washington State.

Ford is next in line of good players from Edmond Santa Fe High School to join the defensive side of the ball in Stillwater. He’ll link up with the last great defensive end to come out of Santa Fe High School, Cowboy standout Calvin Bundage.

Ford and fellow Oklahoman Grayson Boomer lead the 45th best class in the nation, according to 247sports.com. The Baylor Bears rank five spots ahead of OSU at #40, while West Virginia is five spots behind at #50. The Cowboys likely won’t stay at #45, as there are still a few commitments the Cowboys are waiting on. Most notably among those is Langston Anderson.
