Oklahoma State (5-1) vs Little Rock (4-3)

When: February 27-28, 2018- 4 p.m.

Where: Allie P. Reynolds Stadium

Stream: okstate.com/live

Radio: Cowboy Radio Network

The Cowboys:

Oklahoma State is currently riding a three game win streak after winning two at home against Marist this past Saturday and Sunday.

After the weekend, the Cowboys boast a batting average of .218, up a whopping .06 from the .212 mark before the weekend. As it stands now, Andrew Rosa is the only Cowboy batting over .500 at .545 in 11 at-bats. Colin Simpson is also hitting really well with a .400 average in 20 at-bats.

The starting line up has not been announced as per usual for Holliday, but I expect to be C.J. Varela to be the starting pitcher for Oklahoma State on Tuesday. Varela has only pitched two innings this year, but hasn’t given up an earned run, to go along with a strikeout. Wednesday’s starter is to be determined.

The Opponent:

The Trojans are on a win streak of their own with two straight wins. They are hitting better than Oklahoma State, with a .275 batting average as a team, but nobody hitting over .500. Troy Alexander leads the Trojans with a .448 batting average. Chase Coker has a batting average at .412 as well.

Right-hander Mckinley Moore is expected to take the bump Tuesday for the Trojans. He’s 1-0 on the season and has a 12 ERA in his three innings pitched. The Wednesday starter is yet to be determined.

Prediction: Pokes get another sweep.
