USC Upstate grad-transfer PG Mike Cunningham Sets Visit to Oklahoma State

USC-Upstate Guard Mike Cunningham has set visits to three schools, and the Cowboys are included.

NCAA Basketball: South Carolina Upstate at Minnesota Harrison Barden-USA TODAY Sports

USC-Upstate Guard Mike Cunningham has announced three visit dates before he decides where he will exhaust his final season of eligibility.

The graduate transfer will visit Oklahoma on April 19, Oklahoma State on April 22 and Louisville on April 25.

The 6’0 guard averaged 13.7 points per game last year and slashed 38.5/38.2/73.7 shooting the ball. He will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer.

Mike Boynton’s squad will be able to offer Cunningham major minutes after losing its top two 1-guards in Kendall Smith and Brandon Averette. The Cowboys need depth more than anything and Cunningham would be a more-than-welcome addition as an experienced ball handler.

Cunningham is expected to commit soon after his visits and is expected to choose between OU, OSU, Louisville and Tulane.
