High Noon Highlights(4/12): Jeffery Carroll Starts Play in Portsmouth Invitational

Welcome to High Noon Highlights, a place to catch up on everything you missed yesterday in Oklahoma State Athletics

NCAA Basketball: Big 12 Conference Tournament-Kansas v Oklahoma State Amy Kontras-USA TODAY Sports

It’s high noon...

James Washington Continues Working Out for NFL Teams:

Yesterday James Washington had his work out and meetings with the Dallas Cowboys. For my own selfish reason I would love for James to go to Dallas. However, he continued his workouts today and worked with the Texans. This could also be a fit for the reigning Biletnikoff winner. He could learn for DeAndre Hopkins and possibly be able to compete for some playing time.

Jeffery Carroll has Great Debut in Portsmouth Invitational:

Former Cowboy basketball forward Jeffery Carroll started his journey to playing professional basketball yesterday. In his first game of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament Carroll went for 15 points on 4-for-6 shooting, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. He also went for five boards and two dimes in 21 minutes of action.

His coach also came out to support.

This is an awesome picture of a player of coach that you can tell bonded over their years together.

Carroll’s next game will be tomorrow night at 7. He plays on Sales Systems, LTD. You can watch the game here, or follow along with the live stats here (PIT Game 7).

Herschel Sims Talks About Career:

Heartland College Sports was able to interview former Oklahoma State running back Herschel Sims. They talked about his dismissal from the program very transparently and what’s he’s doing now as a coach at the University of North Texas.
