Mason Rudolph Would be a Good Option to Replace Tom Brady:

SB Nation New England Patriots site Pats Pulpit has show Mason Rudolph love as a possible backup to Tom Brady before. Well they released a new article where writer Cody Rivera details why in his opinion the best option is Mason Rudolph.

First there’s this on Baker Mayfield:

I crossed Mayfield off the list as well, mainly because the kid is a head case. He’s a talented quarterback, but the Patriots don’t need a kid who stirred up media drama last season by tauntingly grabbing his crotch. He sounds like a perfect match for the Jets.

I have to agree with him there.

He then says this on Rudolph:

This is the guy that I would like to see Belichick draft. Just imagine watching the Patriots on Sunday Night Football…

“And now, let’s meet the offensive starters for the Patriots…”

“Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State.”

Has a nice ring, doesn’t it? He sounds like a New England Patriot already.

...In all seriousness, Mason Rudolph seems like the type of quarterback that would best fit in with the Belichick system, and eventually, the McDaniels system. When watching a few of Rudolph’s highlight videos, he reminded me a bit of Brady, and even a little bit of Jimmy Garoppolo – Brady’s former heir apparent that got away. They all have a similar aura about them when they are dropping back and slinging passes downfield, and I’m 100 percent OK with drafting another version of Brady/Garoppolo.

I could see this working out. As much as it would pain me to buy a patriots jersey, I would rock one if this ends up happening.

Vanessa Shippy gets drafted:

Oklahoma State softball standout Vanessa Shippy could make her dreams of playing professional softball come true after she was drafted as the No. 11 overall pick in the National Pro Fastpitch draft Monday night. After having a phenomenal four years at Oklahoma State, it comes as no surprise that the Cleveland Comets drafted her.

Bryce Thompson Receives Offer From Kansas:

Booker T. Washington shooting guard and Oklahoma State target Bryce Thompson announced that he has gotten an offer from Kansas.

While Thompson is friends with new OSU recruits the Boone twins, with that KU offer Oklahoma State’s chances at landing the 4-star took a hit.

Oklahoma State Men’s Golf in Third Place After Day One of Big 12 Championship:

The Big 12 Men’s Golf Championship are underway in Tulsa at Southern Hills Country Club. They played two rounds yesterday and are in third place after posting a 574. Vikor Hovland was a big contributor as the field leader. He jumped 12 spots in round two after shooting 4-under. Three of his last four holes were birdies.
