James Washington drafted by Pittsburgh Steelers in 2nd Round

The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected James Washington with the 60th pick in the NFL Draft.

NCAA Football: Oklahoma at Oklahoma State Rob Ferguson-USA TODAY Sports

Congratulations to the President, James Washington, for being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 60th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He had to wait until day 2 of the draft to hear his name called, but that won’t deter the former Oklahoma State Cowboy.

A handful of wide receivers were taken ahead of Washington, but a lifelong dream has finally come true for James and his family. Washington will likely fill the role left behind by Martavis Bryant, the former Steeler who was traded to Oakland.

Cowboy faithful will miss watching Mason Rudolph throw deep passes to James Washington, but next season we will be able to see James in action during his rookie year in the NFL. Best of luck in Pittsburgh, James!
