After being redshirted his freshman year to put in some work with #BodyByGlass, Flowers put together a strong career for the Cowboy, racking up 284 tackles, 8 TFL, and 4 interceptions during his time in Stillwater. Tre had garnered attention from scouts for his exceptional positional size and willingness to make plays all over the field.
Flowers will get a chance to reunite with teammate Chris Carson in Seattle on the opposite side of the field; the side Seattle fans affectionately refer to as the “Legion of Boom.” He will have an excellent opportunity to learn early in his career from two other freakish safeties in Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas.
Cowboy fans will remember him for his toughness and his ability to erase mistakes on the backend of the defense. We look forward to watching him and Carson in Seattle and wish him luck on the next step of his journey in the NFL.
