Mike Gundy shows support for teachers:

Oklahoma teachers are currently on strike protesting for more funding for education in Oklahoma. Yesterday at practice, Mike Gundy was asked about what he thought about the situation. Here’s what he had to say:

Gundy is full support of the movement as are many Oklahomans. It’s great to know that the head football coach supports education.

A Look at Yesterday’s Spring Practice:

If you’re itching to get a look at this year’s football team, KFOR has you covered. The clip is 43 seconds long but shows some looks at Taylor Cornelius, Tylan and Tracin Wallace, Keondre Wudtee and Tyron Johnson. This video shows some great stuff from the quarterbacks and wide receivers. The guys look to be hard at work.

Vanessa Shippy named Senior Class Award Finalist:

It’s easy to see how good Vanessa Shippy is on the diamond, but Vanessa Shippy has also excelled off the field. For this, she has been named a finalist for the 2018 Senior Class Award. This award is fan voted and Cowgirl fans can place their votes for Vanessa here:

Tickets on sale for NCAA Chapionship:

This year’s NCAA Division I men’s and women’s Golf Championship will be hosted in Stillwater and Karsten Creek. The tickets will be $50 for all sessions.

Baseball at Kansas State rescheduled:

Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Friday, this weekend’s Big 12 series has been moved to Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The series is now set to open Saturday with a game at 2 p.m. The two teams will also play Sunday at 2 p.m. with the series finale set for Monday at 1 p.m.
