Rickie Fowler will be in solid shape when he tees off at 12:50 CST on Saturday. At -2, he’s seven shots back from leader Patrick Reed, but this is The Masters, and anything can happen over the next two days. Scoring conditions should be ripe on Saturday with low wind and soft greens due to moisture in the area.
Let’s recap the first two days for Rickie:
Rickie had a nice day on the course Thursday, firing a 2-under 70. After a bogey on the 9th, He was able to bounce right back to even with a birdie on the 10th. He bogeyed the 12th, but caught fire with birdies on the fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth.
His group of Phil Mickelson and Matt Kuchar was a ton of fun to watch.

Friday started out kind of rough for Fowler as he bogeyed the first hole. He stayed one over on the day and -1 on the tournament until a birdie on the fifth hole. He would have two more bogeys on 9 and 16, but would equalize those mistakes with birdies on 8 and 17.

Death, taxes and Rickie Fowler making clutch putts. (I have to give our own Joel Penfield credit for tweeting that.) TAKE A BOW RICKIE!
This has been a fantastic tournament so far and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the weekend holds.
Me watching this weekend:
