Much has been speculated about what Oklahoma State would do about a glaring issue in the frontcourt, but it appears a solution is on the way.
Maurice Calloo, a high 3-star PF out of Huntington, WV, will sign with Oklahoma State, he announced on Twitter. Calloo has been on a visit to Stillwater since Wednesday, and committed while on the visit. He will join the 2018 class alongside Yor Anei, Duncan Demuth, Kentrevious Jones, and grad-transfer Mike Cunningham.

He hails from the highly-touted Huntington Prep academy, and previously attended Oak Hill Academy, which has produced NBA stars Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, and many others.
Oklahoma State had to fend off potential suitors in Illinois, SMU, Florida, Ole Miss, and Kansas State, among others. Until a couple of weeks ago, Calloo to Illinois was all but set in stone. Not so fast, Brad Underwood.
As for Calloo’s game, his ability on the offensive end of the court should provide an immediate boost for the Pokes.
Standing at 6’8”, 210 lbs., he brings a D1-ready frame to Stillwater, with an elite offensive game to boot. He’s a gifted scorer in the post, and has the natural ability to put the ball on the floor and make a move. As Cowboys fans know all too well, that combination hasn’t been seen in Gallagher-Iba Arena in quite some time. His skillset will be a welcomed sight for Oklahoma State fans in 2018.
