It’s High Noon ...
Cowgirl Softball begins postseason play today against Wichita State:
Today is a big day for Cowgirl Softball, as they begin NCAA postseason play in Fayetteville against Wichita State. The Shockers take a 30-21 record into postseason play, and will be a formidable challenge for the Cowgirls in the first round.
Vanessa Shippy, Big 12 Player of the Year, should be an X-Factor for Oklahoma State today and going forward in the NCAA’s. A player of her caliber could be enough to propel the Cowgirls to an upset NCAA Regional victory. This should be a fun weekend.
Let the #MAYhem BEGIN!!! #okstate

According to his agent, former Cowboy receiver Chris Lacy was cut by the Patriots today.

Lacy was signed by the Patriots as an undrafted free agent after the 2018 NFL Draft. It’s unclear if Lacy will sign with another team at this point, but it’s certainly an unfortunate break for a talented former Cowboy.
Bedlam in the NCAA Golf Championship? Bedlam in the NCAA Golf Championship!
Tee times and pairings for the first round of the NCAA Championship next week at Karsten Creek were released yesterday, and we’ve got a Bedlam showdown on our hands.
FYI. @KarstenCreek is hosting #NCAAGolf May 25-30. Our groupings for the first and second rounds are as follows:

Round 1: 12:20 p.m.#Okstate, Oklahoma, Texas A&M
Round 2: 7:00 a.m.#Okstate, Oklahoma, Texas A&M#golfschool fans, plan accordingly!
OSU is the top-ranked team in the country, and the reigning national champion Oklahoma Sooners follow just behind them at #2. Oklahoma State figures to be the favorite to win it all, but will have to fend off an incredibly talented Oklahoma team which has already knocked off the Pokes in the Big 12 Championship.
I’m #here for Bedlam match play for all the marbles next week at Karsten Creek. Could you really ask for anything else?

Cowboy Baseball’s magic number remains at 2:
OSU had a chance to win the Big 12 last night, needing a win over Texas Tech and a loss from Texas. They got neither as the Red Raiders rolled to a 9-4 win, and the Longhorns squeaked by TCU 3-2.

Tonight, though, Oklahoma State puts its best foot forward with ace Carson Teel taking the mound. Teel has been OSU’s best option on the mound all season, and he will have to be on his game tonight against a Red Raider team that can get red-hot at any moment. With a win and a Texas loss, Oklahoma State could lock up the Big 12 as soon as tonight.
