The Cowboys rolled the tide in Stillwater this afternoon to give Oklahoma State it’s 11th national title in program history. Banner number 52 will rise in Gallagher-Iba Arena, the latest one dedicated to the golf team who defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide at Karsten Creek in Stillwater today.

It was an utterly dominating performance from the Cowboys. So dominant, in fact, that the likes of which OSU downed the Tide this afternoon had never been previously seen. For the first time in NCAA Championship history, the winning team swept the match 5-0-0.

The Pokes got out to an early lead and the Crimson Tide would never recover. Zack Bauchou was rolling today, defeating Jonathan Hardee 8 and 7. Viktor Hovland would finish his match later in the day with a 4 and 3 win over Lee Hodges.

This year’s Phil Mickelson outstanding freshman award winner Matthew Wolff would finish up Oklahoma State’s day with the title clinching putt to bury the Crimson Tide.

Oklahoma State had a real home course advantage, with a flock of loyal and true Cowboy fans making the trek to Karsten Creek to watch the Cowboys add another trophy to their collection. Congratulations to our champions and the Oklahoma State golf program on yet another national championship. Oklahoma State is #GolfSchool.
