With media days, comes great sound-bites, and the Cowboys did not disappoint. Here are some to the best snippets of the Cowboys from Big 12 Media Days.
Justice Hill on Dax Hill going to OU:
Justice Hill talks to The Franchise about the possibility of little brother, 5-star defensive back Dax Hill, going to OSU’s rivals down south.
“Nah, not at all”
Hill then says that it’s ultimately Dax’s decision where he goes and that he’s just enjoying the process.
Then gets asked if it would tear his parents apart to have kids at both schools.
“I’m pretty sure it’s not gonna happen but we’ll see how it goes.”
Does Justice know something we don’t?
Gundy is a twitter troll:
Gundy did it for the likes.
By now we’ve all seen this cryptic tweet soon after Holder’s comments on Pistols Firing’s podcast.

“That was directly to it. “ Gundy says.
Then he goes onto say that it was for the publicity.
“Well I try to get hits on social media,” Gundy said. “ I’m not worried about what he did I’m trying to get hits.”
“He gave me the perfect pitch for Twitter hits.”
This is pure gold.
Justice Hill is a barber?
Justice talks what he does in the offseason, including his hidden talent. He can cut hair.
Justice said he’s been doing it since his sophomore year of high school.
So ya know if football doesn’t work out, he’s got this to fall back on.
Darrion Daniels has the voice of an angel:
After being forced to join choir when he was younger, DT Darrion Daniels hasn’t stopped the hobby of singing. He gave the media a few chords of Ne-Yo’s “So Sick” and it’s really good.
Another Cowboy with a possible after football career?
Oklahoma State DT Darrion Daniels said he was forced to be in a choir along with his siblings at a young age. He’s be singing ever since, and wasn’t afraid burst into song at Media Days on Tuesday. pic.twitter.com/5fGlithOD4— Dean Straka (@dwstraka49) July 17, 2018
Justice Hill says he’s faster than Dax.
The Hill brothers might just be a little bit competitive. After talking about Dax running a 4.30 forty, Justice had to one up him.
“If he runs a 4.30 i’m gonna run a 4.29.”
The sibling rivalry is real with these two. No doubt that wherever Dax ends up they’ll push each other.
