While we’re still more than a week away from the start of Oklahoma State’s season kick-off, for some of the Cowboys’ 2019 commits, game one of their season is already in the rear-view.

Let’s check in on how those players and their teams fared in their season openers.

QB Brendan Costello - San Clemente High School

OSU’s quarterback commit for 2019 helped lead his team to a 34-19 victory over Oceanside High School.

The junior QB completed 11 of his 16 throws for 168 yards and one touchdown. That included a nice 44-yard bomb and a 16-yard TD toss you can watch below (1:14 mark). the dual-threat also had eight carries for 64 yards.

ATH Thomas Harper - Karns High School

Harper, who is being recruited to play cornerback at Oklahoma State, had 208 yards and three touchdowns on seven catches in a 50-26 loss Cocke County.

OT Cole Birmingham - Carlsbad High School

The 3-star offensive tackle with 29 offers helped his team to a 27 point victory over Steele Canyon (awesome name) on Friday night.
