High Noon Highlights(8/21): Bets on Gundy’s hair?, Broadcast team announced for football season opener

It’s high noon...

Apparently Gundy trimmed the Mullet, and you can place bets:

Oklahoma State fans went into a frenzy when a video where it looked like Gundy’s mullet had been chopped off.

Well, you can now place bets on the mullet. The website mybookie has all kinds of things that you can place bets on involving Gundy’s hair.

-Whether or not a player will request for him to bring it back

-Will Mike Gundy’s mullet be back in time for Bedlam?

-Who will Gundy blame for cutting the mullet

The broadcaster lineup for Oklahoma State’s first game is stellar:

Fox Sports released yesterday who will be in the booth for Oklahoma State’s game against Missouri State on August 30. Gus Johnson and Joel K will be on the call. To be honest, I’m also not disappointed I won’t be at this game because I’ll get the hear Gus Johnson call it.

There’s nothing like Gus Johnson calling a game to say the college football. I am excited for this one.

Klatt will be pulling double-duty doing this game on Thursday and then the OU game against Florida Atlantic on Saturday in Norman.

Landon Wolf and Taylor Cornelius get placed on Scholarship:

Taylor Cornelius told the Oklahoma after Sunday’s practice that wide receiver Landon Wolf has been placed on scholarship. Wolf will enter his redshirt sophomore year. He enters the company or Taylor Cornelius, Blake Jarwin and Brad Lundblade at recent former walk-ons to receive scholarships. Wolf played in 123 games last year playing a role a special team. With the depth lost at wide receiver, he should see a bigger role this year.

Dez Byant to make appearance on Hard Knocks tonight:

NFL free agent and former OSU Cowboy Dez Bryant will make an appearance on the HBO series Hard Knocks tonight. The episode looks like it will focus on Bryant’s meeting with the Browns. The episode will air at 9 p.m. central.

Bonus: Paddle People are getting ready for the season.
