Jake Farrell undergoes surgery on shoulder:
Offensive Lineman Jacob Farrell underwent surgery this morning to repair a shoulder injury. His dad posted a tweet before Farrell went in yesterday:
All set to get the shoulder fixed. Be back on the field soon. Pistols still firing. @jfarrell_52 @CowboyFB pic.twitter.com/08eqfuxMB6

Farrell seemed to be in great spirits throwing his dad a pistols firing before being taken into surgery. We don’t have an expected date that he’ll be back or information on what exactly the procedure was.
James Washington turning heads in the NFL:
James Washington is a human highlight reel. But Oklahoma State already knew that right? Well it looks like the world is finally taking notice of the 2017 Biletnitkoff winner.

The AP’s Will Graves went over some of his highlight reel plays from the Steelers’ preseason game.
Here’s a great recount of one of his best ones.
The window Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Josh Dobbs had to fit the ball to the rookie wide receiver didn’t really exist.
So Washington created one.
The pass slightly underthrown, Washington reached over Goodson and plucked it out of the air for a 19-yard touchdown in the third quarter. The second-round pick did it again in the fourth period, outmuscling Packers cornerback Herb Waters for a 22-yard score to help Pittsburgh save a little bit of face in an otherwise drab preseason loss.
Other Stuff:
National Champion and recent U.S. Amateur victor Viktor Hovland went on the The Clubhouse podcast to talk about golfing in Norway, Pebble Beach, and more.
Cowboy Baseball is headed to Nashville, Tennessee for a 2-game series against SEC powerhouse Vanderbilt this fall.
SBNation updated their S&P rankings for all 130 teams and have the Cowboys in the top 20.
That’s all for today folks! have a great weekend!
