Welcome to High Noon Highlights, a place to catch up on everything you missed in Oklahoma State Athletics.

First, GET EXCITED PEOPLE BECAUSE IT’S GAME DAY!

Second, it’s high noon...

Gundy names his scout team Players of the Week:

Every week during the season Gundy names his Players of the Week from the scout team. He tweeted out his week 1 picks last night. Congrats to Dayton Metcalf, Braden Cassity and Malik Givens.

Big 12 Podcast welcomes Mike Gundy:

Coach Gundy made an appearance on the Big 12 Podcast this week to talk about Justice Hill and the season.

“We wanna be able to use Justice as much as we need to be successful. And then we want to give him as much of a break as possible. In that that’s the position those guys bodies take a beating...20 carries a game. And if we’re playing well and his guys that are playing behind him are playing well then you reduce it some.”

Gundy also talks why he’s chosen to stay at Oklahoma State for so long, the riff with Holder and more. This is a great listen.

OKC Dave fan survey:

Dave Hudson’s much anticipated fan survey has been passed around Twitter in the past few weeks and the results are in!

This survey is chock full of fantastic information. From the amount of games fans think this team will will to what the chances are they’ll win each game. This is a must read. He’s been doing it for 11 years and it’s awesome every year.

Gundy releases game day hype video:

If this video doesn’t make you want to run into a brick wall, you might want to check to see if you have a pulse. This is something that I look forward to every game day.

What a way to get fans excited to start the season. BRB if you need me I’ll be watching this on a continuous loop.

In non-football news:

Mason Cox’s Australian football team makes hype video:

Okay so I lied this is football related, just not American football. (I low key thought this was rugby sorry.) Mason Cox has made the transition from the court to the football field. His team Collingwood FC has released an awesome video leading up to their finals game. If you want to catch up with Cox check it out:
