It’s high noon...

Bryan Harsin talks Boise State’s matchup this weekend:

Pistols Firing recapped Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin’s teleconference this morning. It’s full of great stuff. Harsin has coached against the Cowboys before when he was co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in Austin. He coached during the Weeden years for OSU and had glowing reviews for him.

“We caught one of the best teams that I’ve ever seen when Brandon Weeden was there,” Harsin said in a teleconference Monday. “Playing against those guys, it was impressive. I’ve always respected Coach Gundy and what he’s done offensively and the way he’s gone about coaching that football team, not knowing we were gonna be here playing them this many years down the road.”

He also had glowing reviews for current quarterback Taylor Cornelius.

“To me, it’s not a tough scout,” Harsin said. “He’s a good player. The quarterbacks that have played for Oklahoma State are good players. They always have been, so I know he’s good. I know he’s good, I know he can make plays and I know this guy is going to be dialed in.

Marlo Zoller earns spot on Top Drawer Soccer Women’s Team of the Week:

After two wins, two goals and three shots Marlo Zoller has played well enough to earn a spot of Top Drawer Soccer Women’s Team of the Week.

Mike Gundy’s antics for stripe the stadium:

Mike Gundy is a treasure that must be protected at all costs. In his latest shenanigans he “spills tropical smoothie cafe” on his sweatshirt and takes it off to unveil a referee uniform to remind people about the stripe the stadium game on Saturday. Oh Gundy...never change.

That’s all for today! Have a great afternoon!
