Report:Darrion Daniels out for today’s game

Daniels did not make the trip to Lawrence.

NCAA Football: Alamo Bowl-Oklahoma State vs Colorado Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

According to a report from 24/7 sports, defensive lineman Darrion Daniels did not join his teammates in Lawrence and will not play in today’s game.

According to the Cowboy Radio Network, Daniels got his finger caught in a jersey this week during practice and is out indefinitely. We’re unsure if he’s yet to have or has already had the surgery, but he’ll require surgery regardless to repair the injury.

Cowboy Radio Network also reports that Dillion Stoner and Calvin Bundage will sit out this game.

But, what’s worse about the Cowboy Radio Network’s announcement about Daniels is that when it rains, it’s pours because we also found out that the Pokes are for sure missing two of their best players as receiver Dillon Stoner will be out with a hamstring injury and Calvin Bundage will miss the game with the same lower leg injury he sustained in the loss against Texas Tech.
