It’s high noon...
Blogging the Boys takes a deep dive into the career of Dan Bailey:
RJ Ochoa of the SB Nation blog Bogging the Boys too a look a the career of Dan Bailey over the past few years, and why the Cowboys could have made the decision to cut Bailey.
While it might boggle the mind of Oklahoma State fans, as Bailey has the most made field goals in the history of the franchise. Ochoa tries to make sense of everything.
Dan definitely struggled in the season’s final quarter, but he hadn’t missed at all in 2017 before that (eight games). It would be a bit irresponsible for the Cowboys to overreact to one quarter of a season across a seven-year career which is why people have looked elsewhere.
It’s true that Dan Bailey has in a literal sense declined as far as field goal percentage goes over the past three years. If you take one look at this you feel like Sisemore, that the Cowboys had just cause in moving on from Bailey.
The Cowboys decision certainly wasn’t popular. But there is a possibility that it did make some sense.
Dan Bailey reportedly will work out for New York Jets:
Just days after being cut from the Cowboys, Dan Bailey is already getting looks from other teams. Newsday is reporting that the former OSU Cowboy will work out for the New York Jets. According to the report, Bailey is set to work out today. The Jets did not waive anyone or sign any free agents on Sunday.

Hunter Mahan earns PGA Tour card back:
After losing his card in 2017 and playing this season based on past championship status, Mahan is back to full status on the tour after posting a T-2 at the DAP Championships over the weekend. Congrats Hunter!
Props to @HunterMahan. Lost his card in '17, played this past season solely on past champ status. With $30M+ in career earnings, he sucked it up and went back to Web Finals for the second time. After a T-2 @DAPChamp today, he's back to full PGA Tour status for 2019.
