After a rough start to conference play on Wednesday, the Cowboys will look to continue their winning ways against the Sooners in Lloyd Noble. Mike Boynton’s squad will need to bring out everything they got if they want to beat an expierenced Sooner squad in their first Big 12 road game of the season. Bedlam is always an interesting one with the game going to overtime last time these two teams faced off.

Last time the Sooners took the court, they lost to Kansas 70-63 in Allen Fieldhouse. They played an impressive game against the Jayhawks and definitely didn’t go down without a fight. Prior to that, their only loss was to Wisconsin who was ranked No.25 at the time and they were on a 7-game win streak. The Sooner are currently ranked No.24 by Ken Pom. Lon Kruger’s squad has a 45.7 field goal percentage and is shooting 35.7 percent from beyond the arc. They’re not a great shooting team. But they’re experience and good defense got them to 11-1 in a non-conference schedule that featured teams like USC, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Florida.

Three Things to Watch For:
- Sooner’s experience:
This is a team that’s got 2 grad transfer on it. Aaron Calixte and Miles Reynolds bring something to this Sooner squad that you can’t coach, in game experience. They got a junior in Doolittle and a senior in James as well. They put out a lot of experience on the court in their lineup, Watch to see how the Cowboys handle the things those experienced players throw at them.
2. Lindy Waters:
The Cowboys have never lost a Bedlam game Waters has played. The Norman native is familiar with this rivalry and what it means to his team and to his fan base. He always plays well in this game. Look for Waters to shine in Bedlam once again.
3. Rivalry:
This is always a fantastic game. Both teams always bring their best to this one with it being a rivalry. Expect some great basketball to be played this afternoon. Boynton will make sure that his team is ready for this battle in Norman.
