The class of 2020 point guard said in a Tweet:
“First off, I would like to say thank you to Coach Boynton for the amazing opportunity and privilege to earn a collegiate scholarship at Oklahoma State University. I would like to also that the fan base that had welcomed me and my family into the cowboy family. Life is about making the best decisions for your future, I’m just trying to make sure I’m making the best decisions for my future. So with that being said I have decided to reopen my commitment.”
Davis was the only commitment the Cowboys had for 2020. Meaning Boynton has some work to do between now and the early signing period.
They’re currently after the likes of other guards Rondel Walker, Cade Cunnigham and Bryce Thompson.
Rivals150 guard Davonte Davis opens things back up. One-time OK State commit now available. Pokes remain involved for Rondel Walker, Bryce Thompson &, of course, Cade Cunningham on the perimeter@OKStateRivals https://t.co/OM4f2br2UZ
