This is such a cool story, and really helped turn around that season before conference play began. I’m sure this definitely had an impact on the way Tony played in the league as well.

Got a chance to catch up with him recently. He reflected on how that season -- and especially Tony Allen and Eddie Sutton -- changed his life: https://t.co/pBo1uItmoO
One of the first Oklahoma State memories I have as a kid was my dad letting me stay up to watch the Cowboys play St. Joseph in the Elite Eight. When John Lucas hit that shot, my dad and I got in trouble with my mom because we almost woke up by baby sister. That is one of the most iconic moments in Oklahoma State history.

After taking a 5-0 lead early on yesterday against Dallas Baptist, they could not hang out and DBU scored 7 unanswered to get in the midweek victory. This was a winnable game for the Pokes, but Dallas Baptist is one of the best programs in the country. However, losing a 5-0 lead is a tough pill to swallow. The Cowboys head back to the friendly confines of Allie P. to take on Kansas State this weekend.
