It’s high noon...
Austin Eckroat named to Team USA for Palmer Cup:
It was announced yesterday that Oklahoma State golfer Austin Eckroat would represent the United States in the Palmer Cup. The tournament will take place in Arkansas at the Alotian Club.
Fresh off his second career victory as a Cowboy, Eckroat was named to the squad via Team USA’s committee selections.
The Edmond, Okla., native has posted four top-10 finishes on the year. In addition to his win this week at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate, Eckroat tied for third place at The Prestige to go with a seventh-place showing at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate and a fourth-place tie at the East Lake Cup.{okstate.com}
Coach Mike’s locker room speech from last night:
There have been quite a few great post game speeches throughout this season from Mike Boynton. Add a great on after Oklahoma State’s win at Baylor from last night to the list.
Take a look at what he had to say to the team here:
"We've been in this situation plenty of times. You keep chopping wood. Just keep believing in each other." Here is what @thacoachmike had to say after the Cowboys' win! #c2e #okstate pic.twitter.com/ANXPcVG4Wi

Berry Trammel on Coach Mike’s pride in his team:
The Oklahoman’s Berry Tramel wrote a column about Boynton and how he is right in liking the resolve of his team. This is a fantastic column that encompasses what the season is about.
Cowboys fans are tired of hearing about it, but it does bode well for the future. They have a solid core from which to build. They have Boynton, who for the second straight year, in different ways, has shown he can match wits with the Big 12’s mighty coaches. And they have the experience of fighting through a browbeating season and have shown they can do a lot of different things. {The Oklahoman}
