Duncan Demuth has entered his name into the NCAA’s transfer portal per gopokes.com.
Demuth averaged 0.9 points on 29.4 percent from the field last season and played 8.8 minutes per game. This includes just three minutes in Oklahoma State’s Big 12 Tournament game against TCU.
Former assistant coach David Kontaxis was let go earlier this month and was the lead recruiter for Demuth as well. Oklahoma State now has three open scholarships for the class of 2019 with four recruits in the class already.
With the potential departure of Demuth, Mike Boynton will have lost six of the players he has recruited to Stillwater. With Boynton bringing in a talented class and rumblings of a potential Maurice Calloo return, Demuth will likely look to transfer to a school where he could potentially get more minutes.
Demuth averaged just 6.7 minutes per game after the Pokes roster was cut down to seven rotation players after Calloo, Kentravious Jones and Michael Weathers were dismissed.
