Pete Incaviglia to make return to Stillwater:
During this weekends games against the West Virginia Mountaineers, former Cowboy Pete Incaviglia will be on hand for Saturday’s game. He will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch on Sunday.
Incaviglia, who starred at OSU from 1983-85, will be signing 250 commemorative posters for fans at Saturday’s game from approximately 12:40-1:40 p.m. near his plaque on the third base side of Reynolds Stadium. He will only be signing the special posters; no outside items are allowed. Prior to Sunday’s game, which is scheduled for a noon start, Incaviglia will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Named the College Baseball Player of the Century by Baseball America, Incaviglia posted eye-popping numbers during his three seasons in Stillwater. His 100 career home runs are an NCAA record, and he recorded a career .398 batting average, 324 RBIs and a .915 slugging percentage. {okstate.com}
Softball America recognizes Samantha Snow:
Samantha Snow made headlines for a bat flip earlier in the season. She’s continuing to make headlines now from Softball America as a player to watch this year.
Senior Samantha Show is no stranger to the spotlight. As a pitcher, first-baseman and designated player at Texas A&M, she was named to the 2016 SEC All-Freshman Team, 2017 SEC All Preseason Team, 2017 NFCA All-South Region First and 2018 NFCA All-South Region First Team.
This season at Oklahoma State Show has pitched, played first base and right field.
In 95.1 innings pitched, she has a 2.20 earned run average and has only allowed 30 earned runs. She also leads the pitching staff in appearances (17) and games started (13) in the circle. Her biggest wins this year have been against Kentucky, Arizona State and Oregon.
Offensively, she is hitting .312 with nine doubles, 10 homers and 31 RBIs. {Softball America}
