Samantha Show has some impressive numbers:

Cowgirl Softball pitcher Samantha Show has put up some impressive numbers this year. She currently leads the Big 12 in complete games with 14. (!!!) She’s second with six shoutouts and is tied for fourth with 14 wins and 121.2 innings pitched. Adding her had paid off big time for the Cowgirls.

Trevor Boone named Big 12 Player of the Week:

After making history in the series against Texas this past weekend, Trevor Boone was honored by the Big 12 as the Player of the Week.

In the series opener against Texas, Boone rewrote the OSU record book as he became the first player in Cowboy baseball history to hit three homers in a game three times in a career; he previously achieved the feat last week against Kansas and first did it last season against Baylor. In the Pokes’ blowout win in the opener, Boone was 4-for-5 with three homers and five RBIs, and he also scored four runs and stole a base. {okstate.com}

Members of every Oklahoma State sport gathered in Gallagher-Iba Arena Monday evening as OSU student-athletes, coaches, administrators and supporters dazzled on the orange carpet at the inaugural Cowboy Choice Awards.

The event, which was put on by OSU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee with support from OSU Athletics, included an award show hosted by ESPN’s Maria Taylor. {The O’Colly}
