It’s high noon...

Kevin Henry looking forward to senior year:

As spring practices continue, Kevin Henry is trying to make the most out of his senior year after a career that has had it’s ups and downs. Scott Wright of the Oklahoman got the chance to talk to Henry and defensive coordinator Jim Knowles about this upcoming season for Henry.

“Kevin came on at the end of the year, and this gives us a chance to really put the mantle on him and see how much he can take playing a primary role,” Knowles said. “He’s a really passionate guy who brings some energy to our defense.”

A 6-foot, 239-poud native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Henry has the size to play the middle and the speed to be a weapon on the outside.

Returning from the ACL injury, it took him some time last season to get his speed back to what he’s used to.

“It’s been a minute since I been 100 (percent),” Henry said of his health. “Now that I’m over it and up and going again, I feel like I can conquer the world mentally. I feel like the injuries I’ve had made me grow as a person.” {The Oklahoman}

James Washington and Mason Rudolph:

It’s no secret the Mason Rudolph and James Washington have enjoyed being on the same NFL team. Check out this article by Steeler Depot where Washington talks about his relationship with his QB.

“He always said ‘I’m just a phone call away. You need anything, just call me’”, Washington said of Rudolph. “We worked a lot trying to get our football IQ up”. I have no doubt that they will be getting together this offseason. It will be interesting to hear come training camp time how that investment paid off leading into year two for the pair. {Steelers Depot}

Cowgirl Tennis could host a regional:

According to Slam Tennis, The Cowgirls could be on their way to hosting a regional. They currently have the Cowgirls as having a possible regional in Stillwater. Their tier includes Texas A&M, UCLA and USC.
