To use some scouting terminology (that’s my job, anyways), this is definitely some 80-grade #content. Samantha Show has become a name known around Oklahoma State for being a leader on this team and hitting absolute BOMBS. Hopefully with Super Regionals coming up Thursday, the rest of the country on a national stage will see how good Show is.

Jon Heasley will make his 4th start for LEX today after beginning the season in the bullpen.
— Royals Farm Report (@RoyalsFarm) May 19, 2019
Coming off 6 shutout innings on 5/14, he's only allowed 4 walks in 29.1 IP.

Former Cowboy pitcher Jon Heasley was drafted in the 10th round last year by the Kansas City Royals. After pitching in rookie-level Idaho Falls last year, he made the move to Low-A Lexington. He has done nothing but punch tickets all season, including a 10 strikeout performance the other night. He is a guy that is moving up rankings in the Royals organization and could be looking at a promotion soon.
