While Oklahoma State remains squarely in the mix for top overall 2020 talent, they haven’t been neglecting their need for post depth either.
Four-star, 6’10 center Jonathan Aku released his Top-10 on Sunday and Oklahoma State made the cut.
I would like to thank all the wonderful coaches that have expressed interest in me during my recruiting process. Now is the difficult part of cutting my list down to 10. I will focus on these remaining schools as I look for the best fit for me academically and athletically pic.twitter.com/aeJ7JMeSb4

Aku is just outside the top 100 on the 247 composite ranking, but is the 19th ranked center and 7th ranked player out of Texas in his class. There’s obviously a high level of talent here, but the fact that he’s a post player makes him all the more interesting to a Cowboy team hungry for post depth.
If the Cowboys pull off the impossible heist of Cade Cunningham, I think all bets are off. Players like Isaiah Todd suddenly would seem very possible. Aku becomes one of many realistic options instead of one of a few.
However, unless and until that happens, top 100-ish players are going to be where Mike Boynton does his work; and man has he been doing it well.
