Jon Heasley makes the South Atlantic League All Star team

The former Cowboy pitcher was a 13th round pick by the Royals last year, and his first full season in pro ball has been a stellar one. He started the year in the bullpen, but moved to the rotation a few weeks in, and he’s pitched so well he won’t leave it anytime soon. He’s pitched to the tune of a 2.70 ERA and a 53/13 K/BB. The Royals drafted a lot of college pitchers in last year’s draft, and Heasley is proving to be one of the better guys they drafted last season.
