We’re just a week away from Big 12 Media Days, and Monday morning the announcement was made of which players will be attending from each school.
For Oklahoma State, Mike Gundy will be bringing wide receiver Tylan Wallace, center Johnny Wilson, cornerback AJ Green and linebacker Philip Redwine-Bryant.
It’s certainly an interesting line-up. While this is the first time any of these players have attended the event, these are some of Gundy’s veterans which is normally who he takes to Media Days.
Wallace, Green, and Wilson aren’t big surprises, but Redwine-Bryant’ inclusion certainly raises an eyebrow. As one of two defensive players heading to Dallas, we can assume this marks him as one of the team’s primary leaders on that side of the ball.
This is also the second consecutive year Gundy has not taken a quarterback to the event. This makes sense considering the team has yet to name a starter and both Spencer Sanders and Dru Brown would both be first-year starters.
