It’s high noon...
Chuba Hubbard takes Big 12 offensive Player of the Week:
The conference took notice of Oklahoma State running back Chuba Hubbard’s impressive performance against Tulsa on Saturday. He was honored with offensive player of the week.
Hubbard registered 256 rushing yards in the Cowboys’ win at Tulsa, marking the highest single-game total for any player in an FBS game this season. The redshirt sophomore scored touchdowns on runs of 75, 30 and 33 yards, with his three TDs matching a career-high. {Big 12}
Brock Martin and Malcom Rodriguez come together for Martin’s mom with cancer:
Former #okpreps rivals turned teammates Brock Martin and Malcom Rodriguez have formed a close friendship. When Martin’s mom was diagnosed with cancer Rodriguez didn’t hesitate to be there for him.
Nearly two weeks ago, Brock Martin and Malcolm Rodriguez had a surprise for Penny Martin.
With those two, Penny knew that could be fun shenanigans or really anything. This surprise was a small, meaningful gesture.
They were shaving their heads for Penny.
She wouldn’t lose her hair for three more weeks. She tried to tell them it was a bad idea.
“We’ll be ahead of you,” Brock told his mom. They then promised to shave their heads again when the time came. Everybody would be even.
“We decided that we wanted to spoil her and we love her,” Rodriguez said.{The Oklahoman}
