Mason Rudolph’s Steelers team thinks they’ll be just fine:

With Ben Roethlisberger out for the season due to surgery, former Cowboy Mason Rudolph is the new QB1 of the Pittsburgh Steelers. And his teammates are putting their total trust in him.

“He is a great leader,” said JuJu Smith-Schuster. “Someone we all trust.

“We all believe in him, that he is going to step up and do the job. You saw a glimpse of him this past game.”

Rudolph made his NFL debut against the Seahawks on Sunday, coming into the game in the second half after Roethlisberger left the game with the elbow injury. He completed 12 of 19 passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns.{Steelers.com}

Gundy has plugged in his latest productive quarterback — freshman Spencer Sanders — and let him distribute the ball to a pair of stud skill position players. Receiver Tylan Wallace (15 catches, 390 yards, six touchdowns) and running back Chuba Hubbard (521 rushing yards, seven TDs) lead the nation in rushing and receiving yards per game.
