Oklahoma State beat out recent offers from Texas and Florida State to land Banks Jr.’s talents. The 6-4, 285 pound sophomore is not currently ranked on 24/7 or Rivals. But, one can imagine that once he does get ranked it will be pretty high. This was a fantastic get for the O-line with a foundation that needs to start being relayed with the departure of guys like Johnny Wilson and Marcus Keyes at the end of this season.
Banks Jr. told Rivals:
“The main thing that really has me ready (to commit) is that they treat me like I am family there and seeing how good their academics program was a big thing for me. Their push has been really good. It’s more than just football; it’s like a brotherhood. From the jump, I loved their facilities and everything, and each coach treated me like I was their own.”
