It’s High Noon...
Donnie Walton reportedly is heading to The Show
BREAKING NEWS: @NewsOn6 has learned @Mariners have called up former @OSUBaseball and @BKComets @DWalt05 to the Show. So awesome and well deserved! #OKState #okpreps

The former Oklahoma State baseball player and current Mariners farmhand is reported to have gotten the call all ballplayers dream of, that they are heading to the Majors. Walton had a fantastic season for the AA Arkansas Travelers of the Texas League. He finished the season slashing .300/.390/.427 with 11 homers and 50 RBI as a primary leadoff hitter. This was a breakout season for Walton, who dealt with injuries that cost him most of the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Best of luck, Donnie!!
Colin Simpson named Pioneer League MVP

Yep, another Tank update, and this is my favorite one. For a guy drafted in the 29th round, Simpson has broken out in a big way and has caught the attention of the organization. As he leads the Grand Junction Rockies in the Pioneer League playoffs, he was named league MVP. I can’t wait to see how he progresses as a prospect, he’s going to be a fun guy to follow.

A brace for @GraceYochum as the Cowgirls remain undefeated on the season! #GoPokes #okstate pic.twitter.com/nfYCyRDEnP

I’d say scoring seven goals and not allowing any in two home games this weekend is a pretty solid job. The Cowgirls are now 4-0-1 on the season, they head east on Thursday to play Penn State on Thursday, then come back home on Sunday to play Omaha.
Spencer Sanders’ run game helps lead offense
OSU football: Spencer Sanders' run game gets offense on track in rout of McNeese State | by @scottwrightok #OKState https://t.co/j0cp9eyH4a

The only play of significance in the first quarter was a receiver screen pass to Tylan Wallace, who slipped past defenders and went 69 yards for a touchdown. Otherwise, OSU had only 35 yards and two first downs in the opening period.
But when Sanders went on the attack with his running ability, everything opened up.
There were probably more designed runs in this game than Oklahoma State fans cared to like against an FCS opponent, but they were so effective. Some of those runs show why Spencer Sanders is your QB1, that’s the edge over Dru Brown. Brown is effective in the running game, but Spencer Sanders is dynamic. I’ll be interested to see how Sean Gleeson designs more of those runs for #3, because it adds an element to the offense we haven’t seen from the Cowboys in years.
