It’s high noon...
An OSU alum whose collection is top notch:
Check out the feature the O’Colly did about OSU graduate Doug Shivers who has one of the most impressive collections of OSU memorabilia I’ve ever seen.
“When I go in there, whether it’s to watch a game or research something or just to pick up an old program or media guide and look through it for a certain photograph,” Shivers said. “It’s a familiar place and a comfortable place and a place that I enjoy.”
One corner room, as well as a bathroom in the Shivers house, is completely dedicated to thousands of pieces of OSU memorabilia.{O’Colly}
Quarterback update:
Head coach Mike Gundy gave the media an update on who will play behind center when the Cowboys play the Baylor Bears next week.
“We’re keeping the routine the same rep-wise at quarterback,” Gundy said Thursday during a Zoom press conference with local reporters. “Those guys are splitting it and then Ethan Bullock grabs the [third-team] reps. I don’t see any reason to change what we’re doing at this time.”
Gundy added that Sanders could have played against Kansas this past weekend and would have been close to full-speed, but didn’t see a reason to put him in the game with Oklahoma State winning comfortably, 47-7, in Lawrence. {24/7 Sports}
Sills understands roll as a grad transfer:
West Virginia Transfer Josh Sills has taken on an important roll on the Oklahoma State offensive line. This year, we have a very young line protecting the quarterback and Sills has been able to bring leadership to the group despite being the new kid on the block.
“The big thing for me is, I have my undergrad in agribusiness management and OSU, here they have one of the top 10, top 15 ag schools in the country,” Sills said. But the other big thing that I noticed right off the bat just from talking on the phone with coach (Mike) Gundy, coach (Charlie) Dickey, coach (Rob) Glass, coach (Kasey) Dunn and those guys, is I couldn’t take a visit. {O’Colly}
